Chief Warrant Officer 2 Rufus Ferron Brown, 42, of Arkadelphia, Ark., died in an airplane crash at the Camden Municipal Airport / Harrell Field, in Camden, Ark. on Sept. 24. Brown was one of two Arkansas Guardsmen killed in the accident.

Also deceased is Chief Warrant Officer 2 Justin Levon Ashley, 31, of North Little Rock.

Brown was a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter maintenance test pilot from Bravo Company, 2nd battalion, 285th Aviation Helicopter Assault Regiment and he was based out of the Robinson Maneuver Training Center in North Little Rock, Ark.

The two service members were not on duty at the time of the accident and they were not performing in a military capacity. Brown has served in the Arkansas National Guard since 2001. Ashley joined the Arkansas National Guard in 2013.

This imagery was collected at the Robinson Maneuver Training Center in North Little Rock, Ark., and during the memorial service for Chief Brown. Four UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters flew over the church in a missing man formation.
