What is Go SLO?

Go SLO stands for Safes, Locks, or Outside the home.

  • Safes: Store firearms in a gun safe or locked cabinet.
  • Locks: Use trigger locks or cable locks.
  • Outside the home: Temporarily store firearms with a trusted person or at a recommended installation.

U.S. Marines with 1st Marine Logistics Group and U.S. Navy Sailors with Underwater Construction Team 2
take part in the demolition of 10 dams at Cleveland National Forest in Silverado, Calif.,
from March 21-24, 2017. The Marines will conduct dam demolition operations at Cleveland
National Forest over the next two years to allow remigration of fish and to conduct Innovative Readiness
Training. The purpose is to remove all material from the dams and allow fish to pass unobstructed and
return the land to its natural state.
