You Mess With the Bull, You Get the Horns
97th Air Mobility Wing
Feb. 21, 2017 | 1:26
Airmen from the 97th Civil Engineering Squadron recently held a Prime Beef Exercise to develop their skills and maximize readiness, both here at Altus and downrange.

TSgt Jason Howland - Prime Beef Manager
"We timely deliver facilities and emergency response in support of our nation's air mobility training mission and we prepare combat ready airmen."

A primary focus of the exercise is to create an environment that eposes CE Airmen to the wide range of duties they may encounter when deployed.

A1C Trey Evans Bruni - Horizontal Repair
"So I'm at the structures shop today because in case we get deployed or what not, if structures troops are low, their manning's low then they might put us with structures and we'd have to know how to do their job."

And while the training is focused on Civil Engineering jobs, there is also time to polish up on other deployment skills.

SrA Taylor Shea Lindemann - Structural Journeyman
"Self-aid buddy care is hands down, definitely, an important subject that everybody should be familiar with because you never know when something will happen."

Whether at home or half way across the world, it just wouldn't be without CE. For the Mighty 97th, I'm Airman James Johnson.
