What is Go SLO?

Go SLO stands for Safes, Locks, or Outside the home.

  • Safes: Store firearms in a gun safe or locked cabinet.
  • Locks: Use trigger locks or cable locks.
  • Outside the home: Temporarily store firearms with a trusted person or at a recommended installation.

A joint color guard representing the regions military organizations lead the Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Veterans Day Parade Nov. 8, 2014 in downtown Pittsburgh including two Honor Guard members from the 171st Air Refueling Wing. The Color Guard was followed by the parades Grand Marshal Maj. Gen. Wesley Craig, The Adjutant General for Pa. Accompanying the Adjutant General on the reviewing stand is Maj. Gen. John Murphy, Assistant Adjutant General – Air; Brig. Gen. Richard Staats, 316th Sustainment Command Commander; Brig. Gen. Anthony Carrelli, Deputy Adjutant General for Air. A group of over 60 Guardsmen from the 171st Air Refueling Wing march in the parade. The parade also featured marching service members from throughout the region, vintage military vehicles, high school bands, and more.
