What is Go SLO?

Go SLO stands for Safes, Locks, or Outside the home.

  • Safes: Store firearms in a gun safe or locked cabinet.
  • Locks: Use trigger locks or cable locks.
  • Outside the home: Temporarily store firearms with a trusted person or at a recommended installation.

Boczar recounts his family's journey after his daughter was diagnosed with Williams syndrome and credits the Air Force's Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) for providing the critical support that allowed his family to thrive and his career to progress. Boczar speaks on how the program was instrumental in securing specialized medical care for his daughter while enabling him to advance from Technical Sergeant to Senior Master Sergeant, making him a better leader and Airman.
