Royal Thai Navy welcomes USS Green Bay (LPD 20)

The Royal Thai Navy welcomes the amphibious transport dock USS Green Bay (LPD 20) into Chuk Samet Port, Thailand, Feb. 22, 2020. After docking, U.S. Navy Capt. Michael Harris, USS Green Bay (LPD 20) commanding officer, receives a Puang Malai, a Thai floral garland, from Royal Thai Navy Capt. Prasong Chimansee.
The welcoming ceremony begins participation for the Green Bay as part of the USS America (LHA 6) Expeditionary Strike Group and 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit in Exercise Cobra Gold 2020, which is the largest joint multinational military exercise in the Indo-Pacific region and is an integral part of the U.S. commitment to strengthen engagement in the region for a free and open Indo-Pacific.
