What is Go SLO?

Go SLO stands for Safes, Locks, or Outside the home.

  • Safes: Store firearms in a gun safe or locked cabinet.
  • Locks: Use trigger locks or cable locks.
  • Outside the home: Temporarily store firearms with a trusted person or at a recommended installation.

Go SLO helps create time and distance between distress and lethal means.

167th Conducts Joint Cargo Exercise with the 1528th FSC
167th Airlift Wing, West Virginia Air National Guard

Airmen from the 167th Airlift Wing and Soldiers from the 1528th Forward Support Company, Special Operations (Airbourne) conducted a joint cargo loading exercise at the Shepherd Field Air National Guard Base, Martinsburg, West Virginia, July 29, 2021. This training exercise demonstrates interoperability and the capability to rapidly deploy troops and cargo in a joint mission environment. (U.S. Air National Guard video by Staff Sgt. Soldiers taking part in the exercise learned how to safely load, restrain, and unload heavy equipment on a C-17 Globemaster III aircraft. Airmen taking part in the exercise shared their knowledge with Soldiers while maintaining their training at the same time.
