Director, National Guard Strategic Plans and Policy and International Affairs, Army Maj. Gen. William L. Zana will hold an on-camera press briefing in the Pentagon Press Briefing Room, 2DE972, at 10 a.m. EDT, July 13, 2023. He will provide updates on the global State Partnership Program (SPP) mission and the SPP 30th Anniversary Conference, which kicks off next week at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland. The Conference will involve military and diplomatic leadership from some 100 partner nations, the Departments of Defense and State, Congress and National Guard representatives from all 54 states, territories and the District of Columbia.
There will be 60 chairs for reporters in the room. The seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Only one seat per news organization is authorized.
Wi-Fi will be available in the Press Briefing Room. A screen in the foyer in the 2D972 entrance will have the new password.
