JSTARS flies last sortie out of CENTCOM

An E-8C Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System returns at sunset from a combat mission Sept. 12, 2016, at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar. JSTARS fly daily at various times in support of theater operations and average around 11 hours per flight.

30th ABCT reunites with equipment in Kuwait

U.S. Soldiers in the 30th Armored Brigade Combat Team assist in the line-up and preparation of vehicles for movement to their base in Kuwait after being off-loaded from ships at Shuaiba Port, Kuwait, Oct. 21-25, 2019.  The unit is mobilized to support Operation Spartan Shield and is comprised of units from the North Carolina, South Carolina, Ohio and West Virginia Army National Guard.

109th Airlift Wing to support science missions in Antarctica

The 109th Airlift Wing flies the largest ski-equipped aircraft in the world, which can land on snow and ice.
