Army Reserve Today - Episode 16
U.S. Army Reserve Command
July 16, 2015 | 29:59
July 2015 episode of Army Reserve Today, the quarterly video news magazine of the U. S. Army Reserve. Inside this episode.
The best of the best...All Army Reserve Soldiers are super troopers,
making the process to name our NCO and enlisted best warriors a major challenge.
Veterans, service members and supporters participated in the Chicago
- Honor the Fallen Ruck March, a 22-mile. The march was held in honor of the 22 military veterans who commit suicide every day and the hundreds more who
kill themselves while still in service, and those who struggle with
post-traumatic stress disorder.
Full Court Press..Engineers lead the way, retaining quality Soldiers
in their units. We take a look at two successful units who make retention
everyone's business and why that works so well.
Making a maximum effort..Army Reserve mortuary affairs specialists
take part in the first ever mortuary affairs exercise. Learning to recover
and render honors to our dead with dignity, reverence and respect.
Army Reserve Soldiers deployed this spring to El Salvador to work
along side Canadian, Brazilian and host-nation forces providing
humanitarian and civic assistance. Medical personnel from the 349th combat support Hospital of Bell, California, provided treatment at clinics in El Coco, El Salvador.
Soldiers..kids..and books. It was the perfect combination. One
Atlanta area army reserve unit is looking to extend the month of the
military child into a year long event.
