U.S. Army Sgt. U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground (YPG) was thrilled to show their support for the annual Yuma Air Show on March 9. Instructors from the Military Free Fall School located at YPG provided a crowd-pleasing opening of the event. Soldiers from YPG’s Airborne Test Force, the Military Free Fall School, and the local Army Recruiter Office greeted eventgoers. YPG’s display allowed visitors to get up close and personal with a variety of military vehicles, including a Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV), a Bradley Fighting Vehicle, and a High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMVW). For those looking for some firepower, a M119 105mm howitzer was on display. The crowed eagerly learned about YPG’s important mission testing equipment for the Warfighter.
