California National Guard Primary
Sept. 10, 2019 | 1:04
U.S. Army UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters assigned to the California Army National Guard take firefighters and hand crew members to a remote area of the South Fire and back to a helibase in Red Bluff, California, Sept. 10, 2019. Cal Guard helicopters are able to get firefighters out to the fire line within minutes whereas it would take several hours by vehicle and foot. Cal Guard flew more than 150 firefighters to or from the line by the day's end. (U.S. Air National Guard video by Staff Sgt. Crystal Housman)
