University Engagement Webinar: Doing Business with DTRA
Defense Threat Reduction Agency's Chemical and Biological Technologies Department
Aug. 1, 2020 | 56:56
The Defense Threat Reduction Agency’s Chemical and Biological Technologies Department (DTRA CB) is part of the U.S. Department of Defense’s Chemical and Biological Defense Program. DTRA CB has the responsibility to provide science, technology, and capability development investments that maintain the U.S. military’s technological superiority in countering WMD and asymmetric threats, mitigate the risks of technical surprise, and respond to the warfighter’s urgent technical requirements. We accomplish our mission by turning disruptive, game-changing ideas into prototypes and capabilities through collaboration with academia, industry, national laboratories, and government partners.
Webinar topics include:
- Key strategies needed to successfully work with DTRA.
- Steps to navigate the federal procurement rules and how to seek additional assistance.
- Information about how the contracting process is being streamlined through the Other Transactions Authority (OTA).
Learn from outreach and contract specialists about how to get involved to support DTRA CB in accomplishing their mission.
