U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers train alongside local first responders at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Soldiers participate in a training exercise that simulates a dirty bomb attack and learn how to work with local authorities in the aftermath. Soldiers practice their search and recovery skills along with handling a mass casualty situation. The Army Reserve stands ready to support civil authorities under the Defense Support of Civil Authorities act in order to save lives, prevent human suffering and mitigate great property damage.
