9th Reconnaissance Wing

The 9th Munitions Squadron at Beale AFB hosted the third Air Force Combat Operations Competition. Eight ammunition teams from eight different Major Commands were tested in various wartime operations, and graded by speed and accuracy. The 96th Maintenance Squadron from Eglin AFB, Florida, won the competition, taking home the Sierra Trophy.
