Operation Tech Warrior 2017 Participant: Eccrine Systems

By participating in the 2017 Operation Tech Warrior event, Eccrine Systems, Inc., captured data in real time looking for indicators of dehydration. Eccrine Systems creates wearable sweat sensors for medicine, industry and sports, and the military.

This device has been under development for a couple years and analyzes sweat to figure out what dehydration looks like. Operation Tech Warrior provided the opportunity to deploy this device on 50 people in real time, in a simulated battle/real world environment, where participants were wearing it throughout the day. This kind of testing is difficult for small businesses to accomplish without the kind of opportunity provided by Operation Tech Warrior.
