B-Roll of the first day of the U.S. hosted ASEAN Defense Forum. This is the first such forum to be hosted by the United States. U.S. Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel and U.S. Pacific Command Commander Admiral Samuel Locklear joined ASEAN ministers from the organization's 10 member nations. They met at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Inouye Regional Center on Ford Island for talks on humanitarian assistance and disaster relief. They also toured the USS Anchorage in Pearl Harbor and a static display of U.S. aerial and ground assets on Hickam Air Field. B-Roll package also includes remarks by Secretary Hagel at the NOAA meeting and at a press conference on the USS Anchorage.
