Retired Chief Master Sgt. Bob Vasquez joined the Air Force on February 1, 1972 and spent 24 years playing with the United States Air Force bands throughout the world. He also served as Commandant of the Noncommissioned Officer Academy at March Air Force Base, Calif., Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Commander of the 92nd Airlift Wing at Fairchild AFB, Wash., Deputy Director of the Family Support Center and superintendent for the 86th Mission Support Group at Ramstein Air Base, Germany.
