The 114th Fighter Wing hosted six members of the Suriname Defense Force as part of their annual integration summit March 6-7. The South Dakota National Guard was selected as Suriname's State Partnership Program partner affiliate in 2006. The mission of the SDNG SPP is to provide ready forces to support U.S. Southern Command requirements for military to military cooperation activities with the Government of Suriname.
