Airmen from all over the nation who fly the HC-130J Combat King II participated in the Rescue Rodeo in Salina, Kansas, March 25-29, 2024. Competing for the top spot were the rescue professionals from the 79th Rescue Squadron, Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona; 71st RQS, Moody Air Force Base, Georgia; Air National Guard’s 211th Rescue Squadron, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska; 102nd Rescue Squadron, Francis S. Gabreski Air National Guard Base, New York; 130th Rescue Squadron, Moffett Federal Airfield, California; and the Air Force Reserve’s 39th Rescue Squadron, Patrick Space Force Base, Florida.
