In honor of the National Veterans Day Observance, the U.S. Army Military District of Washington conducts a Presidential Armed Forces Full Honor Wreath-Laying Ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

This year marks the centennial of the Tomb, with thousands of people coming to pay their respects at the monument in Arlington National Cemetery.

A wreath was laid by President Joseph R. Biden, who was joined by Secretary of Veterans Affairs Denis McDonough. All were greeted by Maj. Gen. Allan Pepin, Commanding General, Military District of Washington, and Karen Durham-Aguilera, Executive Director, Arlington National Cemetery.
