Scenario: On June 12 at approximately 6 a.m. a notional 7.1 earthquake will register on the Mount Rose Fault System. The earthquake will be centered in the vicinity of Reno. Seismologists with the United States Geological Service suggest aftershocks could occur throughout the region. The natural disaster will prompt activation and deployments of National Guard personnel from Nevada, California, Alabama, Arizona, Idaho, Hawaii, Utah, Florida, Guam, North Dakota and the National Guard Bureau.
