The U.S Army Corps of Engineers' Operation Blue Roof provides homeowners in disaster areas with fiber-reinforced sheeting to cover their damaged roofs until arrangements can be made for permanent repairs. A vital step in the process is USACE putting eyes on the damaged home. This is a free service to homeowners funded by FEMA. Anthony Vogel from the Chicago District and Jenny McDermott from the Rock Island District walk us through the process.
