U.S. Army Soldiers assigned to Alpha Battery, 1st Battalion, 134th Field Artillery Regiment, 37th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, Ohio Army National Guard, conduct certification with M119A3 105 mm howitzers during Combat Readiness Exercise 26-01 at Camp Grayling Joint Maneuver Training Center, Grayling, Mich., July 21, 2026. Staff Sgt. Kevin Greene, a gun section chief with Alpha Battery, explains the importance of field artillery as they conduct live-fire certification. The training evaluated each section’s ability to operate as part of the brigade’s multi-echelon exercise, which tested the 37th IBCT’s ability to plan, coordinate and execute combat operations.
