Members of the Virginia Army National Guard's 229th Brigade Engineer Battalion, distribute food as part of COVID-19 response efforts in Fredericksburg, Virginia, May 1, 2020. About 30 Soldiers with the 229th BEB were augmenting civilian personnel at an area food the Fredricksburg, Virginia food bank as part of the Guard's COVID-19 response. Since the pandemic the facility has seen an 800% increase in demand, which the Virginia Army National Guard Soldiers have helped manage.
