ATHENS, Ohio - Two Soldiers assigned to the Ohio Army National Guard’s 684th Medical Company, perform dental care on a patient during GuardCare 2026 at the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine’s Heritage Hall in Athens, Ohio, Aug. 1, 2026. GuardCare brought together military medical professionals and community partners to provide no-cost dental, vision and medical services to residents of Athens County while supporting the readiness of military medical personnel.
