FORT DEVENS, Massachusetts - A U.S. Air National Guard tactical vehicle travels along a wooded route during convoy training at Patriot Forge II. The exercise served as training to support and enable Agile Combat Employment (ACE) and the skills needed to generate distributed airpower in a near-peer contested environment. During the exercise, ANG civil engineers practiced tangible, cross-functional combat skills, focusing on tactical medicine, convoy operations, and infantry tasks to make them more lethal and survivable.
