Nairobi, Kenya - U.S. Army Staff. Sgt. Evan Boyer, an electronics and small arms repairer with the Massachusetts National Guard, works with members of the Kenya Army Corps of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering at the Kahawa Barracks in Nairobi, Kenya, on May 30, 2025. A team of maintenance experts from the MANG addressed any capability gaps in the KDF’s newly acquired M1117 Armored Support Vehicles and supported advanced maintenance operations, including weapons configuration, boresighting, depth recovery setup, and removal of power packs and turrets.
