Albany, New York - A Department of Corrections and Community Supervision instructor speaks to New York National Guardsmen at their DOCCS training facility in Albany on March 10, 2025. Working with the New York Army National Guard’s 106th Regional Training Institute, DOCSS created a five-day crash course in basic correction officer skills for New York National Guard Soldiers and Airmen on duty in the state’s prisons during an illegal strike.
