Spencer Nielsen, senior enlisted leader of the Utah National Guard, showcase Holloway and Fayles’ Meritorious Service Medal awards during the closing ceremony of the 2022 Army National Guard Best Warrior Competition in Nashville, Tennessee, July 29, 2022. Fayles and Holloway received the awards after earning the titles of Army Guard Soldier and Noncommissioned Officer of the Year, respectively. Both will go on to compete in the All-Army Best Warrior Competition at Fort Hill, Virginia, later in the year.
