Stout Field, Indianapolis - Brigadier General Margaret S. Washburn is the Assistant Adjutant General - Army, Indiana National Guard. As the Assistant Adjutant General she serves as the Chairman of the Joint Forces Headquarters Indiana Facilities Utilization Committee, Appointing Authority and Resolution for Property Management and Reports of Survey, assists the Director of J1, as needed, in the accomplishment of objectives in accession and retention of quality soldiers in the Indiana National Guard, serves as coordinating official between The Adjutant General and the Indiana Guard Reserve. General Washburn also performs duties of Administrative and Operational functions in absence of The Adjutant General.
