Norris, Texas adjutant general; and Jose A Esparza, the Texas deputy secretary of state, at a ceremony in Austin, Texas, Aug. 3, 2021, commemorating the 40-year anniversary of the Multinational Force Observers (MFO). After the signing of the Egypt-Israeli Peace Agreement, the MFO was created to supervise the implementation of the security provisions of the treaty and prevent any violation of its terms.
