Scotia, New York - An LC-130 from the 109th Airlift Wing, New York Air National Guard, makes its first landing at Williams Field, McMurdo Station, Antarctica kicking off the 2019-2020 season in November 2019. The 109th is the Department of Defense's only ski-equipped aircraft supporting the National Science Foundation and the United States Antarctica Program.
