Vet, 92, receives Bronze Star 70 years late

Las Vegas, Nev. - William Grant Jr., 92, of Las Vegas, right, receives applause from Brig. Gen. William Burks, the Nevada Guard's adjutant general, center, and Command Sgt. Maj. Jared Kopacki after Grant Jr. received his Bronze Star Medal Dec. 29, 2017, in North Las Vegas. Grant Jr. earned the medal in World War II more than seven decades ago. The Nevada Army Guard hosted the belated ceremony for Grant Jr's award.
