Protecting rare parrots in Puerto Rico

El Yunque National Rainforest, PR - The Puerto Rican Amazon, one of the rarest birds in the world, native to Puerto Rico, perches in a sanctuary at the Iguaca Aviary, El Yunque National Rainforest, Puerto Rico. The aviary protects the species through captive breeding and egg fertility to release them and build up the population in the wild.
