ST. THOMAS, VI - Spc. Karima Liburd, a military police officer, from 661st Military Police Detachment works alongside Luis Casanova, a Special Operations Bureau officer from the Virgin Islands Police Department, to enforce the curfew at one of the check points Sept. 16, 2017. Hurricane Irma, a Category 5 hurricane, inflicted catastrophic damage to St. Thomas and St. John, V.I., when it made landfall, Sept. 6, 2017.
