Members of the South Carolina National Guard along with family and friends join Soldiers from the 1221st Route Clearance Company, South Carolina Army National Guard, at a dedication ceremony for the 1221st Fallen Soldier Memorial at the Graniteville Armory in Graniteville on Dec. 5, 2015. The memorial is dedicated to three fallen comrades from the 1221st Engineers who were killed in combat, U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Willie Harley, U.S. Army Sgt. Luther “Will” Rabon Jr., and U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Matthew Dillon, who served in the unit in 2004.
