Nevada National Guard Airmen were on hand to welcome home members of the Nevada Honor Flight June 23, 2013, at the Reno Tahoe International Airport. Honor Flight is a nationwide program that transports America’s veterans to Washington, D.C., to visit the war memorials that were built in their honor. The program sent 30 Northern Nevada veterans from World War II, the Korean and Vietnam Wars on a weekend tour of the nation’s capital.
