Army Sgt. The 151st Infantry and several other units amounting to approximately 250 Soldiers were mobilized to state active duty in response to the flooding in Gibson, Knox, Daviess and Posey counties due to near record numbers of rainfall. Soldiers are assisting in sandbagging operations, transporting displaced civilians to shelters, search and rescue missions, debris removal and damage assessment.
