An Alaska Army National Guard UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter sits on Meade Glacier while Juneau and Douglas mountain rescue teams aid a hiker stranded since March 7, 2010. Army Guard and Coast Guard crews were finally able to reach the hikers location after four unsuccessful Coast Guard attempts due to dense fog and various weather conditions. Alaska State Troopers estimated the area he was stranded in has received 12 feet of snow since Feb. 20.
