Bryan DeLage (119th Medical Group) shows patient Amena Salifu the x-ray of her hip fracture at the Mallam-Atta Market Government Clinic as part of the Medflag 2006 joint force humanitarian medical assistance exercise Accra, Ghana Sep. 13. Amena Salifu walked to the clinic on the broken hip to be examined. The North Dakota National Guard medical group members and support personnel are in Ghana as part of Medflag 2006, which is a U.S. military medical exercise that is geared toward gaining and providing training and experience in management of world health problems, sharing of medical information and techniques with African host countries, and providing humanitarian civic assistance to host nation civilian populations as good will ambassadors of the United States.
