The 131st includes Soldiers from Vermont and Indiana, and is attached to the Arkansas Army National Guard's 875th Engineer Battalion, which departed Arkansas July 22. The unit has finished a grueling two-month training regiment at Fort McCoy and will depart shortly on a year-long deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
