BRIGADIER GENERAL MICHAEL A. VALLE
Brig. Gen. Michael A. Valle serves as the Assistant Adjutant General -Air, Florida National Guard, and the Commander, Florida Air National Guard. General Valle is responsible for mission readiness, operations and coordination of the 10 Florida Air National Guard (FLANG) units at seven geographically separated sites. His scope of responsibility includes $550 million in facilities and equipment, $750 million in aircraft, $120 million in operating budgets, and command of over 2,000 personnel.
General Valle was commissioned through the Air National Guard Academy of Military Science, McGhee Tyson Air National Guard Base, Tenn., In November 1996. General Valle has participated in several worldwide theater operations including Operations NOBLE EAGLE, SOUTHERN WATCH, and ENDURING FREEDOM and counter-drug operations in Panama and Colombia. He has significant experience in Theater Security Cooperation (TSC), working primarily with Mexico and supporting USSOUTHCOM in various countries in South America. Additionally, General Valle has served as an Air Expeditionary Group Commander Joint Task Force Commander and Joint Air Component Coordination Element (JACCE).
