Brigadier General Martha N. Wong is the Mobility Assistant, Director, Logistics, Engineering and Security Assistance (J4), United States Pacific Command, Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii. General Wong assumed her current assignment in November 2010, assisting the J4 in the planning, coordinating and integrating of reserve forces into the strategic logistics, engineering and security assistance for United States Pacific Command.

General Wong was commissioned in 1982 through the University of Texas Reserve Officer Training Corps as a Distinguished Military Graduate. Prior to commissioning, General Wong served as an enlisted member of the 49th Armor Division Support Command of the Texas Army National Guard. After completing the Quartermaster Officer Basic Course as a Distinguished Graduate at Fort Lee, Virginia, she was selected for the first one-year assignment of the Logistical Support Unit, Multinational Forces and Observers, Sinai, Egypt. She remained on active duty in a follow-on assignment to the 407th Supply and Services Battalion, 82nd Airborne Division Support Command where she served as a Personnel Staff Officer, Parachute Rigger Platoon Leader and Assistant Division Parachute Officer. Returning to the Reserves, she served in the Mississippi Army National Guard as a Battalion S4 and Return of Forces to Germany (REFORGER) Planner in the Colorado Reserves as an Observer/Controller and Company Commander, and ultimately finding her home in the Hawaii Army National Guard. She has held numerous leadership positions in the Hawaii National Guard including Commander, Headquarters, Hawaii State Area Command; Deputy Chief of Staff, Hawaii Army National Guard; Commander, 298th Regiment, Regional Training Institute and Director of Manpower and Personnel, Hawaii Joint Force Headquarters. General Wong served on the Joint Staff at the National Guard Bureau in Arlington, Virginia just prior to her selection as brigadier general.
