MAJOR GENERAL GREGORY T. WHITE
Maj. Gen. Gregory T. White serves as the Director of Space Operations, National Guard Bureau. He leads the organizing, training, equipping, and maintaining of mission-ready National Guard space forces for the Chief, National Guard Bureau. The Space Operations Directorate formulates, develops and coordinates all policies, plans and programs for National Guard space-related activities.
General White earned his commission in May 1990 as a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy. He has served in numerous operational and staff assignments, including as the National Guard Bureau A2 Director of ISR, the Air National Guard's Senior Intelligence Officer (SIO). He has commanded at the flight, squadron and group level, and served as the Vice Commander of the 140th Wing. He has deployed six times for named combat operations and served as an intelligence instructor and flight commander at the U.S. Air Force Weapons School. Prior to his current assignment, General White served as the Director of the Joint Staff, Joint Force Headquarters - Colorado, Centennial, Colo.
