Brigadier General Jonathan T. Wall (Retired)

Brigadier General Jonathan T. Wall serves as the Chief of Staff, Mississippi Air National Guard, Joint Forces Headquarters, Jackson, Mississippi.  As Chief of Staff, he assists the commander and Adjutant General in formulating, developing, and coordinating all programs, policies, and plans ensuring the combat readiness of two flying Wings, a Combat Readiness Training Center, Air Support Operations Squadron, Air Component Operations Center, Special Operations Civil Engineering Squadron and an Air Control Squadron.

General Wall was commissioned through the Air National Guard’s Academy of Military Science in 1985 and attended Undergraduate Pilot Training at Laughlin Air Force Base where he received his wings in 1986.  General Wall held command at the squadron, group, and wing levels of the 172d Airlift Wing.  A Command/Evaluator pilot, General Wall has participated in several operational deployments including Operation Desert Shield, Desert Storm, Northern Watch, Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom.
