Brigadier General Charles L. Yriarte is Commander, Land Component Command, Oregon National Guard and also serves as Commander, Joint Task Force Oregon. As Commander, Land Component Command General Yriarte is responsible for the planning and execution of all land-centric operations.

General Yriarte was commissioned in 1980 through the Officer Candidate School program at the Idaho Military Academy. He served as an enlisted member in the Oregon Army National Guard for nine years before accepting his commission.
