ARCWERX

The ARCWERX puts cross-functional groups together, enabling them to leverage economies of scale in building prototypes and sharing best practices at the correct level of functional expertise to leverage the unique capabilities in the Air Force Reserve Components.

AIM-HI

The AIM-HI program focuses on creating the infrastructure and tools for collaboration of diverse entities to facilitate the rapid transfer of knowledge and technology to solve real problems faced by Airmen and Guardsmen everywhere. Upon successful completion of their final pitch to their sponsors and senior leaders and academic requirements, they will become Certified Professional Innovators through the University of Michigan.

VISION

VISION is a portfolio management system used by the DoD to capture and accelerate innovation and process improvement initiatives. With VISION, warfighters can manage and progress their ideas, and leadership gains visibility into portfolios and data-backed metrics to better allocate resources to mission-critical projects.

Defense Innovation Unit

The Defense Innovation Unit is a Department of Defense (DoD) organization that accelerates the adoption of commercial technology into the military and identifies and leverages innovative solutions that can enhance the readiness and effectiveness of the warfighter through expedited acquisition processes.

OUSD (R&E)

The Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (USD(R&E)) serves as the primary advisor to Department of Defense (DoD) leadership on all matters about the Department's Research and Engineering (R&E) enterprise, technology development and transition, developmental prototyping, experimentation, and administration of testing ranges and activities. USD(R&E) has the lead responsibility within the Department for synchronizing Science & Technology (S&T) efforts across the DoD, the Joint Staff, and the Services.

Mission Cultivate

Mission Cultivate is a no-cost, GovCloud-secured defense networking platform. With familiar features, it offers a more discreet audience of only national security professionals, allowing users to connect within communities and collaborate on publicly advertised opportunities.

H4D

H4D is a university course sponsored by the Department of Defense that teaches students to work with the Defense and Intelligence Communities to address the nation’s emerging threats and security challenges rapidly. H4D allows innovative ideas submitted by the Services to be hacked on to increase the speed at which their organization solves specific, mission-critical problems. GigEagle

GigEagle is a joint talent marketplace matching skilled DoD talent to unit needs, and enabling beyond-team collaboration and talent fluidity for national security. Any military member or DoD civilians can post short-term work opportunities, or “gigs,” and unlock an existing-but-underutilized talent pool: Guard and Reserve members are highly skilled across a variety of industries with the potential to make substantial contributions to DoD missions beyond their military specialty codes.
