The Airfield Pavement Evaluation, or “APE” team, with AFIMSC’s Air Force Civil Engineer Center at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida, provides evaluation services for more than two billion square feet of airfield pavement all over the world. Its work ensures flight lines can support all Department of Defense aircraft wherever they are needed.
