Coast Guard crewmembers worked with the Houston Police Department to stop a recreational boat that failed to heave to after violating a security zone on the Houston Ship Channel. The captain of the boat was cited with entering a security zone without permission, a violation which carries a maximum penalty of 10 years imprisonment, $10,000 fine and/or forfeiture of the vessel.
